I suppose he had it before you came here. So what does that tell us about you? (insult unintended)

What does it mean, actually ? "Dog's cave" ?

"Beware of the dog!"

Here is the famous Cave Canem mosaic at Pompeii. Remind you of anyone?

Mickey Mouse?

So Disney stole the idea from ancient Rome, and copyrights it. What a prick.

Oh right, that explains it. I thought it was a dog, but I don't know any dogs…

Dogs are your racial enemy?

pibbur who thinks the dog in the mosaic reminds him of a dog.

PS. The word "cave" is used in medicine to mark really important information. Like "cave penicillin" which means that the patient must not be treated with penicillin (usually due to allergy). In the old days of paper based patient records, "cave" information was written on the front, often in red, to ensure that the information was not overlooked. In today's electronic patient records, it should be presented as soon as a patien't record is opened." DS.

EDIT: Hmmm. Actually, my reply to Myrthos doesn't make much sense. No surprise.

I feel exactly the same as you. I have been proven correct today and that makes me sad as well.

Indeed you were. I understand your attitude now, and will do the same as you. I have no more patience for this sort of pettiness.

You use a thread about the Brussels tragedy to promote Donald Trump, Marine Le Pen, and your political agenda - and you want to talk about pettiness?

For god sake, man, forget about the rules - that should have been closed just as matter of sensitivity and decency. If you want to have a debate about multiculturalism and fundamentalism in a civilised way, at a later time, I'm sure we could oblige.

I won't be discussing this any further.

I think most of us just wanted to talk about preventing such an event in the future. But i guess we are not allowed to talk about that other giant elephant in the room.

Actually, if this thread is just going to be used for people to vent their spleens about moderator decisions, and drag things out of P&R, I think it should also be retired.

We should implement a rule where threads are only permitted to be 10 pages long and that no individual can post more than 10 posts to one thread within a character limit of 1,000 words, that way people will be less inclined to go off-topic and less inclined to waste post-space by declaring the thread dead when all they have to do it wait for post #200.

Ironically this thread came about so YOU could vent your spleen over moderation that wasn't to your liking. But that's completely different I guess. I see the echo chamber has spread from P&R.
