Dreamland Chronicles: Freedom Ridge had absolutely fantastic pitches and screenshots and was groundbreaking in its time. Too bad it wasn't realized.

Apocalypse isn't usually thought of as the best of the Xcom series, but it might be my favorite. Turn-based, of course. Never bothered with that real-time nonsense. Love the destructible and vertical environments.

I loved that you could switch from turn based to real time at will. Made hunting that last alien bearable.
