Kind of tired right now, so this is going to be a half-assed thread starter…I'll say a lot more things about it tomorrow, but just to get the ball rolling… check this out:

Played it, love it! One of the few games that recaptured that certain Deep Space feeling I got with Master of Orion 2 so long ago. I never tried MoO3 due to negative reviews.

Yep, that's a comparisson that's been made… cool that someone here likes it… right now I'm playing a mod for it called Project Babylon (version *cough* -2.6-) that is truly amazing, and all the more interesting if you're … interested in modding the game and how it works, which I know am…partly due to how (relatively) simple it is to mess with the game's scripting system (Digital Eel were very wise to have it work that way). And the Babylon 5 universe is great *launches pilot episode*. http://www.shrapnelcommunity.com/thr…?Number=476113
This is it, give it a whirl if you didn't already.
(And regarding what I said yesterday about making the thread-starter post more informative… I'm sorry mommy, I can't find the words that will do this game justice!)
