What is that Ascension to the Throne game about? I've never seen that in the US, It looks interesting.
Has anyone played it?

Nobody has played it, like most games by that publisher.
It seems to be an RPG/strategy mix. I thought it was a SpellForce clone, but the description says itīs turn based. Seems to be a solid game. 76% percent in PC Games.

Steam has Shadowgrounds Survivor as the "weekend deal" at 75% off ($4.99) for anyone interested. Light rpg elements (some upgrades to weapons and character) plus a whole lot of alien shooting in a really neat looking game world. For a better idea of what to expect, Mike Anderson has a nice review over at Gamerdad. I figured I couldn't lose at that price, and am having a great time with it so far.

I just bought complete-in-box versions (printed manuals and all in perfect condition) of these games from ebay:
The Ultimate RPG Archives
The Forgotten Realms Archives
Total cost was only 15 EUR! Im so exhilarated after hunting perfect versions of those two collections for month(s) and then suddenly getting them this cheap..(I also got masterpiece collection earlier. My old games archive is starting to be complete)
Thers few more of them both available right now in ebay.uk bid starting from few euros if anyone is interested of these rare collections. Ebay is THE place to look for games if you just keep your eyes open.

The 8800GT I paid $300 for in December can be found at Best Buy for $99. Down $100 according to their label.
Mine's an eVGA brand while this one is a PNY.

You mean $149 don't you? I just looked at their weekly add and that's what I saw. It's $100 off the regular price of $249 for this week only, still a very good deal.
Just 6 months ago I paid $350 for a 8800GTS 512, which isn't much faster than the 8800GT. It pisses me off how fast the prices fall on PC parts.

The latest GoGamer 48 Hour Madness includes S.T.A.L.K.E.R. for only $9.90 (along with several "hmm, maybe at that price" items like Stronghold Legends and Blacksite Area 51).

evga makes much better cards than most, especially pny which is good at budget cards. just got my evga 8800gt for 169.00 after a $10 rebate.
the core clocks on those 2 are way different as well 600mhz versus 650mhz and the memory as well 1800mhz versus 1900mhz.
tons of variety in that class of card. newegg sells 50 of the 8800 gt alone.

Stalker for $10? Yipes!
I finally picked up Darkstar One. I saw it at Target in Jewel Case for $10 but then I was in Gamespot and they had their last boxed copy for $5 so I grabbed it. The clerk not only had never heard of it but it took him 10 minutes to find the disk in the drawer.

I've seen that the German low-budget label "Software Pyramide" gets HOMM 5 for I think it was 10 Euros soon.
No add-ons included, as usual.

Gogamer's madness this weekend has Mass Effect for PC for a few dollars off--$37.90 instead of $49.99. which isn't too bad for such a recent release. They also have Loki for 14.90, but that's not low enough for me, I'm afraid.
Edit: Oh, and also they Spellforce2 Gold for 17.90--missed that first time through.
