China is trying to protect it's MMO gambling victims

While noone would be more happy than me if this gambling falsely advertised as videogame became illegal, China IMO made the step into right direction. And IMO this is another law that should be a worldwide thing. Or, enforce those product publishers to advertise gambling as gambling, not as videogames. And of course pay gambling taxes.
China has just passed new regulations on online games that will force developers to be completely transparent with the probabilities of the contents in these premium microtransactions.Basically, all chinese players who were scammed into buying scandalous Star Trek Online by Perfect World Entertainment gambling boxes, will know now what chance is something they want drops from those boxes and if that something can even drop at all - without googling or gathering data into some local spreadsheets.
The regulation comes from China's Ministry of Culture, via NeoGAF, and states that "online game publishers shall promptly publicly announce information about the name, property, content, quantity, and draw/forge probability of all virtual items and services.
