They must have made a huge jump from 1.7.3 to 1.7.4 if that's the case. Zelda was a mess in the prior build.
There are other issues they say, but it's supposed to be quite playable.
Certainly feels that way to me

Wait what? New Zelda came on some emulator and Nintendo didn't shut it down already?

Eh? What piracy? I'm talking about Nintendo business practices where nothing can live outside of their precious garbage handhelds:

I'm totally surprised Nintendo did not shut down the emulator project. Whatever OS is in their handheld, it's still their "intellectual property". And if you want to play their games, then you must buy the trash hardware or face consequences at court. Buying a game is not enough, Nintendo doesn't care for games. All they care about is that you buy their electronics garbage!

indie game hosting site Game Jolt had to pull 562 fan-made games after receiving legal notices from Nintendo.Hopefully now someone at least can understand my reaction to some Nintendo person being dead a couple of years back. If not, well, not that I care much.

There is some guy that remade the original pokemon from scratch in minecraft that you play on this virtual gameboy, AFAIK that has no cease and desist order nor has it been shut down.

Blizzard is far worse in this regard, they will shut you down if you use art RESEMBLING their characters and you use their names from blizzard even if you made them from scratch. Which is why all the names had to be changed in Dota 2. So Nintendo is definitely no the worst here.

Don't think I have any love for Blizzard.
But they don't "roleplay" quack doctors with a cure for cancer that's nothing but a spoiled water.

Was your childhood mainly outdoors getting dirty?
Mine was. I don't have any allergy (except on horsearmor, p2w and such stuff). Also gluten - what's that?
Nintendo destroyed millions of children. And got paid for it.
Don't get me wrong. I'm a tobacco addict and I passionately defend tobacco industry. I expect to see the same passion from Nintendo audience, the difference is smoking slowly killing me is no secret.

I dont see how you can compare the two really.

After playing it a little while, I'm not particularly impressed.
EDIT: Also you probably need a Xbox 360 controller to play it properly.

No, I'm still in the Great Plateau. I just don't really seem to find anything particularly interesting.
Also, I'm not a big fan of the Portal-like puzzles in the shrines. I prefer interesting exploration to jumpy/gamey puzzles.
