I'm looking forward to replaying several games but I don't see a new game joining the crowd, except maybe the Larian game. To me, Larian has taken backward steps since Ego Draconis, so I'm not real hyped about the next Sin game. I will still play it, since I got a free copy from here

I am looking forward to Sacred Fire and Cyberpunk 2077.
I dunno the longer i live the more and more i feel devs arent trying deliver what htye promise let alone to push boundaries in the RPG genre. The biggest blow to me is the Planescape:Torment sequel. I feel they gave up on the vision they had for the game too easily. I would have crowd funded a second time for that game to deliver.

As long as links are being posted, here's Bard's Tale 4. The combat for this game is looking really interesting to me.
Also ELEX - the only thing I really see going for it is it's from Piranha Bytes but that is a pretty big thing.
One I didn't expect to look forward to is Monolith's Middle Earth: Shadow of War - the sequel to the (IMHO) so-so Shadow of Mordor. The game looks quite different from Shadow of Mordor with a lot more tactics going on. I just hope that alpha footage had the game set on easy-mode.
My most anticipated right now: BattleTech, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Underworld Ascendant, Bard's Tale 4, ELEX, Shadow of War, Expeditions: Viking, Divinity: Original Sin 2, NieR Automata, Torment: Tides of Numenera, and maybe even Tales of Berseria. Yes, some of those are out already this year but I'm always well behind release day. I get better games that way.
For me, this is looking like one of the best years ever! (Though I'm sure a bunch of these games will get bumped off to 2018.)
Edit: Oh, and Bannerlord! Thanks Silver! Andy maybe Prey if that works out.

D:OS 2 is my most anticipated.
Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord
Expeditions: Vikings looks like it will be right up my alley. Still not sure through so will wait on reviews.
Battletech of course
Prey is another I will check out when I can afford it.

Sometimes we can look backwards and go forwards at the same time.
My current backlog for instance:
Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords (restoration mod)
Geneforge (Spiderweb)
The Ringed City (Dark Souls 3)
Age of Decadence (Unfinished. Pick up Dungeon Rats too!)
Shadowrun: Hong Kong
Dead State (Haven't finished)
Underrail (I really need to see what the deal is with the Deep Caverns)
Pillars of Eternity (White March Part 2 - Path of the Damned run)
Wasteland 2: Directors Cut
Banner Saga (Unfinished)
So yes, plenty to play in the meantime without being tied down necessarily by the obsession with what is current or new nor the constant need to look "forward".

Also you won't have any shop during last parts, and this a point you should better know to avoid a build using consumable.
Dev is just stubborn to not have polished this. But that's this type of indie dev, they consider it's important they do what they want. When you know the exact series of trick to chain, those final parts are probably less a boredom. I suspect dev never ever tested those parts with a heavy back tracking to simulate a search of the right way, or he did it only with an OP build.
EDIT: It's even more a wrong design decision because the most fun builds are based on sneak and consumable, and from far. And they become obsolete when you reach final parts, sigh.

Sigh, since when it's there? Very useful as soon as such list don't start collect everything with RPG elements.

That list has been useless for at least 3 years. You might as well pick any game list on the internet as it won't be any more generic than the list here.

It's very incomplete if it's a list for games with RPG elements and Roguelite.
But yeah useful anyway to build yourself a list of coming RPG.
