Default So Nintendo has topped the DLC bullshittery

So Nintendo has hidden the hard mode of the 3ds Metroid behind their amiibos(toy figurines) and if you cant get them you cant access it legally. It's like Nintendo looked at what other 3rd parties are doing in terms bad DLC and said "what you guys are doing is child's play, we'll show you how it's done!".

Votes from wallets in past couple of decades agreed that Nintendo is the savior of human race.

Not my wallet, but I'm irrelevant minority.

I sure hope future Switch titles do not follow this trend. If they do, they'll not see a single coin from me.

!? So you have to buy the toy in order to access the hard mode!? Yeah, that's really really bad. I would boycott Nintendo but, since I haven't ever bought anything from them anyway…

That is them, they have a code on them that you swipe on your controller or handheld to use them in games.

I'd really really really really really really really want to invent a grand brand name that sounds in Japanese or Chinese language like total gibberish. Like Huawei, or Wii or Amiibo sound in my own language, for example.
Whereas "amiibo" still hints to the spanish word "amigo". "Wii", however … It only sounds like the German word "wie" which means "how".

Only way that you could possibly do that is call a new device some gibberish enough times and hope it catches on.

I still think "Wii U" is the sound a cicada makes in the summer.

Reminds me of a sound a Minion makes when costumed as a firefighter.
