I have never understood the dangerous inhalant thing. I had a roomate before that was into it and it's quite the strange little hangup. Beside huffing paint, he used to also huff some polyurethane sealant called Great Stuff. It was the strangest thing, he'd do it like we used to do whip cream cans. I remember once he smiled, all buzzed out on the stuff, and he had it on his front teeth! They literally attach a pair of plastic gloves to the can, it has skull and crossbones on it, what would posess someone to inhale this stuff?

I think being a complete idiot has something to do w/ it. He didnt last long as my roomate.

I had an acquaintance in college that used to spray engine starter fluid onto a baking sheet, dry it, and snort it and put glue inside a paper bag and pull it over his head. He ate a stick of deodorant to get a buzz I guess one time. I didn't know the guy that well, but it was weird. People do weird stuff.
