Is there any benefit from subsrcribing to the game if you only play single player, and not PvP?

Probably not much. Even the benefit for MP seems to be doubtful.

You´ll probably get more qualified answers if you ask a mod to move your thread into the correct forum though.

It is really focused around extending the life of the game and enticing players to hang around by promising constant new content.

Oh, sorry. I thought this was the right forum - I thought the RP elements in the game was a bit weak. My mistake.

They just released the 1st subscription only patch "stonehenge" som time ago. I dont know much about it though.

It is just a new area and some new quests … and the thought was that subscribers get stuff early … and everyone else waits. At least that was my understanding.

I was under the impression that most of that subscriber content was going to stay exclusive, Mike, rather than just "pre-public". The content add they included with the first big patch was intended as a "make-up offering" for the botched launch.

@Ighartveit: for now, we still treat the action RPGs as family. No harm done, and I'll kick it over to the regular RPG forum for ya.

Thanks for clarifying … haven't played recently … but I did add the patch, and the main page looked like a massive advert!

I wouldn't take that as gospel--I was sorta following the news since I was interested in the game, but I don't own it yet. I could be full of it. IIRC: The Halloween content was public on release day. The first add-on (can't remember, maybe Easter Island?) was intended as subscriber only but included in the patch as an apology. There were a handful of "theme" items released public around Xmas. Stonehenge is the second add-on and is subscriber only.
