Uru

I was a big fan of Myst when it came out but with the reviews of Uru I held off buying it. I think a lot of people like me still haven't played Myst III, IV, or V because they haven't finished Riven.
Is Uru as a MP game any good? This was the way it was supposed to be played. Has anyone tried this out on Gametap?
