CouchPotato, please allow me to publish this:
Rumor: Cyberpunk 2077 is coming in 2019, according to Turkish publisher's deleted tweet
I don't know If you've posted this already; if you did, sorry for double posting It.
As I said before
Cyberpunk 2077 producer Richard Borzymowski said the game still doesn't have all of its assets, and the fixes for the bugs that were discovered in playtesting haven't been implemented yet. However, you can play through the entire game and see the story unfold, which Borzymowski says is important for finishing the game's development. "[Playing through the game] gives you the answers to all of your doubts," he said. "It just feels great."
Also the "we're much, much closer to a release date than we were back then" statement they said a few weeks ago casts doubts. It may release in 2020 or not. But find it hard to believe they intend to constantly advertise the game till 2020.
Yeah it doesn't make sense for them to show at E3 with anything much more than a year to go. They don't want even a year and a half marketing, 12-15 months seems like their ideal window.
I think we're 15 months out from the game, tops, so fall 2019. There's a marketing interest in not leaving a big gap from reveal, as well as one in getting this out in advance of PS5 so they can do what GTA did.
I don’t think people realize how fast modern games can go from Pre-Alpha to Pre-Release, especially considering the sheer size of the dev team at CDPR. Pre-Alpha is almost always the longest and hardest stage of development. Everything after that is a cake walk.

Cgmagonline CD Projekt Red Interview
CD Projekt Red has made a name for themselves by building massive fictional worlds. With The Witcher, and now Cyberpunk 2077, they have crafted an environment teaming with life and possibility. Utilizing the Cyberpunk roleplaying system, Cyberpunk 2077 promises a rich, open world experience that will let you, the player, build the character you want and interact with the city as you see fit. It is a staggering undertaking, but if the demo is anything to go by, they are making this promise a reality. Thanks again go to Farflame
The skill and talent needed to build these games is staggering, relying on big teams all working together to allow the seamless open world feel alive. At Gamescom 2018 CGMagazine had the chance to sit down with Maciej Pietras, lead cinematic animator for Cyberpunk 2077. He started at CD Projekt Red working on The Witcher and both expansions, before moving over to the Cyberpunk Team. As he outlines the process of building this new experience, Pietras gives a good look at the complexity involved, the attention to detail, and the care put towards the players end experience that make Cyberpunk 2077 such an anticipated game hitting consoles and PC.

Emergent Gameplay and Whether Witcher 3 Influenced Early Demo Reveal
Recently, we had a good, long chat about Cyberpunk 2077with level design Miles Tost. We asked him if there was every any apprehension in the studio about releasing the 50 minute footage to the public at large, in light of the mini-controversy that was kicked up regarding [I]The Witcher 3’s alleged downgrades. According to Tost, that was never really much of a factor. He gave the following response: “The demo gameplay video was recorded from a work in progress version of the game and we were a bit uncertain if we should release it to the general public as we didn’t want to commit to any particular design. A lot can change between now and launch, but you can be certain that we’re not going to release a game we’re not happy with.” So from the sound of it, The Witcher 3’s controversy didn’t play any part in the reveal.GTA V Mod Takes Inspiration From Cyberpunk 2077
While gamers won't be playing CD Projekt RED's Cyberpunk 2077 any time soon, they can get a bit of a taste for it thanks to a new Grand Theft Auto V mod. The newly released mod comes from creator Alex189, and allows players to turn female pedestrians into futuristic cyber-enhanced characters. While inspired by the upcoming role-playing game, the mod is not a direct adaptation. Instead, the creator took some inspiration from classic anime films such as Akira and Ghost in the Shell. There's also a D.VA Overwatch skin included as a bonus.

Cyberpunk 2077: Everything we know about CD Projekt's next RPG
Cyberpunk 2077 was announced all the way back in 2012, and the past six years of interview snippets paint Cyberpunk 2077 as a behemoth of a game, even bigger that The Witcher 3. Now we've finally seen it, and it looks awesome.
During E3 2018, we were among the first to sit down and watch an hour-long Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay demo that showed off a dizzying variety of Cyberpunk's systems, character progression, and combat. The same demo was shown at Gamescom, and recently, it was unveiled for the public. Here's what we learned, plus everything else we know about Cyberpunk 2077.

CD Projekt Red says that the release of Red Dead Redemption 2 has taught it that it needs to publish extraordinary games?. The studio behind The Witcher series has said that it has set aside time to patch out bugs before Cyberpunk 2077's release, because it pays to be among the best?.Sorry to tired and lazy right now to post as usual with links embedded in text.

I hope that by "as refined as RDR2" - they don't mean they intend to emulate that atrociously bad interface or inferior facial technology.
RDR2 is an impressive game in some ways, certainly - which is probably what we should expect when 1600+ people have been working on it for so long, but considering what those people could do - under the right circumstances - the game isn't very impressive at all.
But that's just me.
Their marketing has become a little lazy and self-aggrandizing lately.

It's not just you. I mean, perhaps it is if you're talking about actual RDR2 players.
In my case it's all those let's play youtube videos that have antishills effect on me.

Well, I actually own the game on the supposedly "best" platform (XB1X) - and the controls are among the worst I've ever experienced for an AAA game.
Beyond incredible production values and an amazing presentation - it's really not that good a game. It suffers heavily from archaic design principles - much like all Rockstar games - and I would consider games like Kingdom Come much, much more impactful in terms of taking the genre forward.
Don't get me wrong, it's a cool game - and it's a good game.
But the 10/10 ratings are as ridiculous as the 2/10 ratings are for FO76.
I don't know why people absolutely must exaggerate on this scale - but there it is.
