People are 'outraged' if their order is wrong, if a store doesn't stock everything they want, if the weather changes etc.
Pathetic.
I agree, it's probably everywhere - but I only really notice it with games, because that's what I tend to follow on Youtube.

Well, not exactly - I noticed a similarly obscene reaction to Last Jedi - because people forgot that Star Wars was always a little silly.

It's fine to actually hate a movie because you're petty as a person, but why do you need to create bots to support your point of view?

Isn't it enough to just state that you don't like the film and give your reasons, and that's that?

I mean, I can easily see why people didn't like Last Jedi, Fallout 76 and Andromeda. They all have issues - no doubts there.

But that doesn't mean the people making them are horrible and worthy of being burned at the stake. It could just mean we all like different things for different reasons.

Coincidentally, I consider Last Jedi and Andromeda the best in their respective franchises. No, I'm not saying that as a reaction to the hatred - but because I genuinely love them.

Fallout 76 is genuinely mediocre in several ways - though I still think it's well worth playing for fans of Fallout 3/4 and cooperative gameplay.

But that doesn't make me immune to their flaws - or unsympathetic to the opposing viewpoint.

It's when it gets out of hand that I start to wonder what's happening, that things so largely inconsequential get blown up so vastly.

Everyone wants to copy AJ and JS success not understanding why it worked in their case and won't work for a random looney.

I'm more pissed off with pushing and shilling for "reaction" articles, posts, tweets and videos from anonymous people. That thing needs to be terminated, platforms that allow it banned from internet and it's creators imprisoned for life.

Look up the term G.I.F.T. on TV Tropes.
