MarkGFL has reviewed The Outer Worlds:
Would I Recommend The Outer Worlds? - Sci-fi RPGMore information.

The Outer Worlds is an excellent sci-fi RPG that feels like a mix of Mass Effect, Knights of the Old Republic 2 and Fallout 4 all wrapped up in a World that reminds of the TV series Firefly. The Outer Worlds has been really well made with a lot of thought gone into the writing, dialogue, acting and game mechanics, plus loads of humour and funny moments. Would I recommend The Outer Worlds? Yes!

A mix of Mass Effect, KOTOR2 & Fallout 4. Are there blue ladies to romance? Because if there are I will be totally on board with this.

No.
It's not Mass Effect - no blue ladies dating sim.
It's not Kotor2 - no deadly granny of doom.
It's not Fallout 4 - no (actual) aliens!
But it's everything else.

But it's Vegas baby! Ahum, fallout new Vegas. For the limited time I played it really felt only like that game with just a different setting and updated mechanics. No references to other games needed.

Well as I said before it's a good game and can't wait the improved, and more funded sequel.

“People are speculating hundreds of hours of gameplay…no,” comments Tim Cain. Leonard Boyarsky says the game’s length and size is “roughly comparable to a KOTOR 2.” For reference, How Long to Beat pegs Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II – The Sith Lords at about 30 hours for a regular playthrough. When the GameInformer interviewer gave them a ballpark of between 15 and 40 hours, Tim and Leonard also seemed to agree with that.Link - https://www.dualshockers.com/the-out…otor-2-length/
That large variation of time mostly depends on how people play the game. “It’s hard for us to come up with the hour limit because it depends on how you play it,” says Tim. Meanwhile, Leonard said “we’ve had people play through it in 45 minutes to an hour and some people take 3 to 4 hours to get through it” in regards to The Outer Worlds’ opening area.” He then delved into how different people like to play.
“Some people are going to want to vacuum everything up in every level and not leave until every task is done and every faction quest is done, and other people are just going to want to play the main story,” Leonard said. “Stealthing a lot obviously adds time because you have to be very patient and watch patrol routes and stuff like that is usually slower than the combat path which is sometime slower than the dialogue path.”
