Yeah all that Chinese cash from Tencent & Fortnite micro-transactions is a big boon for them. Wish I could blow away almost $300 million and claim to still be rich.

Want to know my solution to this problem Arr…let me put on my hat.

Fortnite is a big reason, yes. That game alone apparently brought in around $9 billion total in 2018 & 2019.

The important thing here is that 2018 was HIGHER than 2019 … which is why Epic is suddenly on this nonsensical crusade.

When companies begin caring about me and my welfare, that's usually when I start becoming concerned with theirs.

Indeed, I'd be curious to know what Fortnite is making now.

They also turn a profit from the Unreal Engine, though I don't know how much. Like Fortnite, the most recent figures are from 2018-19.

Wait till Q2 where they post the executive bonuses from year end.
Then all the twitterati can get upset that the corporate hogs get bonuses and still post a loss. Never mind the fact they don't understand the slightest thing about company finances and couldn't financially manage themselves out a paper bag.

How about all games have a single huge lootbox you pay for up front that contains all the options, items, skins, unlocks etc? I'd pay for that!!
