I only downloaded DL2 and gave it 5 mins to see how it runs, and I'm happy to say it's running very good on my 6 year old now 1080ti with all default settings (a combination of High and Very High on most thing from what I saw). And fantastically enough, it supports 21:9 resolutions. Good to know for when I get back to it.

Dying Light 2 has very poor voice acting. For some reason, almost every actor talks too…damn…slow…ly. A lot of them also flub words and they didn't bother to rerecord the lines. It's bad (and sluggish) enough to be very distracting.

I haven't really noticed the voice acting being all that bad. I'm 7 hours in and the whole affair seems overall more polished (to me) than its predecessor, so far. I may have low standards as far as that sort of thing goes.

One thing I am not liking is the whole "you can only spend so many minutes in the dark before you turn" thing. Really annoying.
What they should have done was taken a page from The Division and had areas where the airborne viral load was higher. They could have had levels of viral load where the timer would tick down with different speeds.
Naturally, these areas would tend to be those that were very dark, pitch black and not a hint of UV.
As it stands you go into a slightly dim room and the timer kicks in, even though sunlight is flooding through in some parts.
