Question about The Witcher registration.

2 questions actually, I'm trying to find these out for a friend of mine.

1.) Is The Witcher a title where registration is required to play?

2.) Would any problems arise from a previously owned copy that might have already been registered by someone else?

1. No.

2. He might have some trouble installing the enhanced edition upgrade, you need to register in order to do that.

Thank you. It's the retail EE edition anyways, so I guess there shouldn't be a problem.
