Alien RPG - Cancelation Confirmation

Why is it so damn hard for us to get a single player dialog-driven RPG? It's not like these games haven't sold well in recent years. We get maybe one game a year at the most and there hasn't been any new blood in this genre (other than CD Projekt) since the 1990s.
