Chrono Trigger Stuck

Hey everyone.
I'm playing Chrono Trigger on the SNES and am stuck in the sewers in the future. I had to catch some rat who told me I had to press and L & R and then A but I don't know where.
Anyone know this ?

You need to press that combination in front of the panel with the flashing button IIRC. The panel is located in the room right before the running rat. When you press the combination, it opens the locked door.
