Kinda expensive so I'm fishing for opinions. Is it a ripoff of Goblin Quest? I quite liked that one….

check out the reviews at amazon or other similar sites, might give you a clue on its quality.

Yup I saw those reviews and figured I'd double check with the RPG crowd. Has anyone heard of Goblin Quest by Jim C. Hines? Its from the Goblin perspective and its great. The best part though is how much it makes fun of D&D. If you've played the game the book is hilarious. The party of "Adventurers" is a classic D&D party… its very funny stuff.

I read the first 40 or so pages of the Nicholls book several years ago. It was rather… well, let's just say I didn't like it all that much, so I stopped reading.

I read Orcs of Stan Nicholls. I liked it a lot.
It was a good read, nice to see them more like a race then monsters for once.
I really liked it but I can't tell if it is a ripp of of Goblin Quest because I never heared of that.

I would advice you to rent it in a library, much cheapier
