Oh I agree - I was just pointing out another side point about the pro's and con's of MMORPG monthly payment. I play a lot of MMORPG games and have for years and I enjoy them. So I find the cost of entertainment for them extremely cheap at $15.

However some people do not and feel they get more bang for the buck from SRPG. I had given some pro points on MMORPG but I also see the other side.

Of course getting quality gaming, for a long time, at cheap cost, is probably one of the best deals

I also have played many MMORPG I totally had a blast in for months, even a year or more. I have had SRPG games I never finished and wore a waste of money.

I tend to like both (single and MM) equally but in different ways. ALthough I will show my fanboyism and say DAO has probably been one of my all time favorites and higher on the fun list than any MMORPG I have played **if** you remove the social fun factor of an MMORPG and just look at game play.

If the MMORPGs would only have cost per gameplay hour, instead of static mountly fee. Like 0,20$ per hour would rock. But I guess, this is not so "effective way" to make money. Having montly fee forces players to play, but that "per hour" fee would work counterwise.

there's also the psychological aspect of paying per use, just as in Internet. For most people, even if they actually saved money using a rated fee, I'm sure most would prefer having the flat fee, maybe because they haven't done the math, or because they don't like the feeling of knowing the time they're playing is costing money.

Well, yeah the flat fee is okay, but like when you are buying play time for MMORPG, you would get hours instead of months. And those hours decrease as you play, but ONLY when you play the game.
