Aliens vs. Predator story trailer

Here's the trailer for the new Aliens vs. Predator. The game is due to be released in February for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.

As a fan of the older AvP titles, I have to say this game looks quite promising.

Wicked trailer! This is probably the game I'm waiting for the most right now, the old games were just awesome and this looks even better! I'm betting the multiplayer will be great too, can't wait!

You'd think that greedy corporation would have learned it's lesson by now.

Also, the original Aliens vs. Predator is now available on Steam. It's been updated to run on modern PCs, and is now titled Aliens vs. Predator Classic 2000.

This looks very promising…

If only Hollywood could actually do an as halfway decent looking Alien (or Predator for
that matter) movie these days… Kinda miss those franchises.

Oh well, lets see how this game turns out at least

Me too, I would love to see another Alien movie, I liked all of them.

I also liked the Predator movies, although the first one was *much* better. I didn't care for either of the AvP movies.

Resurrection left me a bit cold tbh (sort of lost me on the Alien-human hybrid in
particular). Still it is usually included in my biannual reviewing of the series, very
good art direction and atmosphere (and Ron Perlman, nough said )

You would be hard pressed to find someone to disagree on those points. Esp. on AvP…
Didn't even bother renting those… Just waited till they aired on public tv to confirm
that they were as hideous as they looked…

I wish I could give the original a replay myself btw but I doubt I'll get around to
playing it with so many new games sitting unplayed in my HD (and with the new
STALKER right around the corner).

Very reasonable … hope this means it will play well!

I don't place too much importance on minimum requirements, they're often quite bogus…like Gothic 3.

AvP is set to launch on Feb 16th. It will also require Steam.

I know the DRM stuff has been done to death recently, but retail games tied to Steam without option is definitely a pet peeve. I like the option to trade games I know I won't play again for at least a year so I can recoup come value …

I've only ever used Steam for Half-life 2. I've tried to avoid it otherwise.

I agree … this is looking less and less like a $50 buy all the time to me.

I've played through the marine and alien campaigns now and I gotto say, I'm abit dissapointed :/. It's not a bad game but it just feels like it could've been so much more. Gonna try some multiplayer soon with a few friends, hopefully thats better.
