Ruin Tablets

Okay, another silly question.

I've chosen the bandit path, I'm still in chapter 1, and have around 6,800 gold pieces after buying the hunters armour. What a waste that was. I just recently saw that you aren't offered the good armour costing 5000 until a particular quest is finished.

Anyway here is the question. Do I buy rune tablets at 500 a piece that I don't own, or will I eventualy just find them? I don't want to waste my money and I want enough to buy the captains armour.

Also, does the content of the chests refill themselves after certain chapters?

6,800 gold in Chapter 1? That's pretty impressive. The tablets are for learning Wisdom, which isn't really that important to a Bandit.

Also, chests do not refill in risen.
