I agree. I skipped a lot of the story explanation of the video, that was way too much.
Upon further reflection, one issue I'm worried about is the roguelite aspect of the game. I probably won't mind the procedural generation of sections as long as they do not seem procedurally generated, but I dislike the Deathloop idea of dying over and over to replay sections of the game even if those sections are somewhat different each time. I don't know if that will be part of this game but it's hinted that it might.
