Anyone watching Season 4 of Westworld? I've been debating about starting it or waiting until it's fully released.
I thought season 3 was the end of the series, it appeared like an end, so I was very surprised when a season 4 was announced. I think season 3 could have been great, but they completely ruined it, as for the series there was a few moments of brightness, but it was all ruined, even season 1 from its Abramsness, that is "sacrificing the overall story for certain 'cool moments' to get maximum impact calculated in an excel formula."

Westworld plummeted for me during the second series, and I truly gave up about halfway through episode one, series three. It had such a strong first series and then, at least for me, it went downhill very fast. And not in a good way.

I watched the whole first season, but I didn't really like Westworld from the jump. So that saved me time (and perhaps disappointment) working my way through the others.

Not sure what you mean. Season 1 was brilliant and is near-universally praised as so. I thought the second season was great too for the most part. Season 3 took a big step back with the writing, but I'm hoping Season 4 is a return to form.

Yeah, I also stopped halfway through season 2. I meant to pick it up again, but it was quite convoluted, and I needed really to start over. Never quite motivated to do so.
I think there are enough shows and games to entertain us than having to try and motivate ourselves to watch something we don't like...

You might have misunderstood my post a little bit, I am not saying season 1 is bad, but the story was more and more ruined by season 2 and even worse season 3 to the point that almost nothing made much sense anymore. Season 1 built up a lot of things which could have been good plots, but turned out to be rather bad, you end up not caring about anything in the end. Most people I know who liked season 1 gave up after half season 2. It feels like each time something is built up, it leads up to a WTF moment, and then twist the plot again, but the overall story makes no sense. What I did really enjoy though is Williams story-line in season 3.

The Most Hated Man on the Internet, a documentary about the guy that started the revenge porn site. It's good, but be warned - the douchebaggery is strong with this one.

I'm watching Cowboy Bebop on Netflix. I'm talking about the live-action series that premiered last year. I never watched the animated series, but I'm 4 episodes into this one and quite enjoying it.

I think it's a lot better than it was given credit for. It reminds me of Firefly in some ways, and I think most people who enjoy that kind of Sci-Fi will like it.

Better Call Saul, Orville, and Evil have all been keeping me thoroughly entertained over the past few weeks. If you're not watching these shows and the genres appeal, you should really sample all three.

I've actually found The Orville very hit and miss. Some episodes I think were good; like it was really finding its feet, and the sort of show it wanted to be. But then some episodes... oh dearie me.

I feel like they spent most of the budget on a few big episodes, and then needed a few low-budget filler episodes. I see what they're going for with the TNG-style interpersonal stories, but I don't think they've got the writing chops for that.

Yeah, some of the episodes have been lackluster for sure. I despise the arcs with Issac and the doctor, for example, and that new Ensign, and anything to do with those brats of the doctors. Yet even at its worse, Orville is light-years ahead of Bad Reboot space shows.

Resident Alien returns this week, so that's something to look forward to!!

Yeah that's a show I'll be watching, Corwin. It'll likely take the place of Better Call Saul, which wraps up soon. Man, the past few episodes have been really good, now we know exactly what drove Jimmy to morphing into Saul, the only question remaining is exactly what his end will look like, not to mention all the other cast members, most notably Kim. She made a really tough decision in the most recent hour, and I'm cheering her on all the way!! Better Call Kim, in fact! -p

I caught the new episode of Resident Alien.....I have to say, I'm really not digging the most recent episodes now as much as I did the first series. Too many new people seem to be blowing in for no real reason, unless it's all just to be distracting and such, and if that's the case, it's working.

@Carnifex check out and read the grahic novels the show is based on. The team behind the tv show did a good adaption. The original version had less comedy and more realistic.

Yeah danutz, the final episode of Better Call Saul is this upcoming Monday. Man, this current series has been awesome, this is a show I'll truly miss when it's all over.

Couch, I did read the first graphic book, yet never went back for others. I'll have to see if I can lay my hands on the whole series, as that's my preferred format anyways. Thanks for the tip!
