Indivisible - Review @ Critical Hit
Critical Hit has reviewed the Metroidvania game Indivisible:
Indivisible Review – Fitting the Profile
I remember playing the prototype demo for Indivisible when the Indiegogo campaign launched way back in 2015. It was a simple pitch but the idea of mixing a Metroidvania style game with Valkyrie Profile combat sounded like a match made in heaven. The execution of it, from what I played back then worked surprisingly well. They were clearly on to something, but info on the game and its development was scarce for a few years. It had kind of faded to the back of my mind, but having finally played it now, I’m happy to say that it delivered on its initial pitch and then some. It’s pretty darn good.
Indivisible is one of the more memorable Metroidvanias that I’ve played in recent years with its unique and addictive combat system. Story issues aside I enjoyed every minute I spent with this game.

Indivisible - Review @ COG
COG checked out Indivisible:
Indivisible Review – Mind Over Matter
Way back in 2015, when the world was still twerking to Uptown Funk!, Lab Zero Games, developers of the hit game Skullgirls, put together an IndieGoGo campaign for a brand new project. After 30,000 backers, 2.5 million dollars raised, and four years of development, Indivisible has finally arrived. Indivisible combines beautifully hand-drawn visuals with action RPG gameplay elements to produce a fresh gaming experience. Featuring a unique story that starts as a tale of revenge and evolves into an epic, world-saving event, starring a special young woman with the ability to absorb her allies into her mind. You probably haven’t played anything quite like this.

Indivisible - 505 games to Publish
@PCGamer Indivisible is due to release this year and will be published by 505 games which has injected an extra 2 million into the project.
Lab Zero's RPG Indivisible raises more than $2.2 million in crowdfunding, due out this year
It'll be published by 505 games, which has poured an extra $2 million into the project.
Lab Zero, the folk behind 2013 fighting game Skull Girls, announced Indivisible way back in 2015, promising an RPG that was heavy on platforming and inspired by the likes of Valkyrie Profile and Super Metroid. I knew its Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign was chugging along nicely but I didn't quite think it'd do as well as this, closing earlier this week with more than $2.2 million raised in total.

Indivisible - Indiegogo Update
The pre-production phase of Indivisible will be extented until the end of the year:
Franimal here, Indivisible’s producer, to give everyone a production update.
It’s been a while since our last update - between tool development, pipeline adjustments, and heavy concepting, it’s been a hectic couple of months.
Over the past 6 months Lab Zero has been in pre-production, working on a lot of concepts for the environments and characters in the game, as well as setting up as much of the tech and gameplay foundation as we can before building out the game.
Although during our pre-production phase we’ve been concepting new monsters, bosses and Incarnations to introduce into the game, we’ve also been working on a number of execution tasks, such as finalizing Ajna’s moveset. Balancing those two aspects of development, concepting and execution, proved to be less efficient than we’d hoped and there’s still work to be done before we can move into full production.
As such, we’ve decided to extend our pre-production phase until the end of the year in order to give the team more time to complete all of our pre-production goals. This includes things like refining the character designs, concepting moves for all the characters and monsters, implementing new tech to streamline level building, and refining the story.

Indivisible - Update
Indiegogo update #44 for Indivisible:
Hey, Indivisible backers! Long time no see!
Since you last heard from us, we’ve been hard at work setting up our new office, staffing up, and getting operations started back up. We're now settled into our new office, and development on the full game is well underway.
With all of that boring ops stuff out of the way, you can expect to hear from us regularly from now on!
We're currently in the pre-production phase. That means we're doing lots of planning and concepting of the game’s world, monsters and characters. Proper planning is key to making a good game, so this is an important part of the development process.
While we concept, we’re also prototyping Ajna’s new traversal abilities, improving our engine’s renderer, and rounding out Ajna and the prototype’s cast with additional animations. Soon we'll begin creating exporters and tools to get things flowing smoothly by the time we move out of pre-production and into full production about six months from now. [...]

Indivisible - Crowdfunding Analysis
@Cliqist they examine Lab Zero's Indivisible and its rocky path to getting funded.
On this week's Crowdfunding Analysis Time (still a great name), we take a look at Lab Zero's latest crowdfunded game Indivisible. Lab Zero has gone through a lot since their first game Skullgirls released in 2012. Since then, they've been dropped by publisher Konami, sought funding for DLC on Indiegogo, seen their game removed from stores, came back with Skullgirls Encore, and have returned to Indiegogo with Indivisible.
Part of Indiegogo’s InDemand funding model, it’s worth taking a look at both the campaign and the campaign months after the campaign officially ended.
Indivisible was a success, it raised more than its $1.5 million goal, but it came only after a twenty day extension for the campaign. Lab Zero is a proven developer with a popular name (and story) to their name, the Indiegogo page has a lot of information about both the game and them as developers, and there’s even a playable alpha demo that even made it onto consoles. So why did this great looking campaign need a last minute miracle to succeed?
Watch the video to find that out, and much more.loading...

Indivisible - Funded
The 2d Action RPG Indivisible has been funded on Indiegogo:
After a grueling 57 days, it finally happened... Indivisible is funded!InDemand functions pretty much exactly the same way the campaign did, but we've retired most of the custom tiers and are continuing to offer the rest. At some point in the future, we will likely retire tiers for most of the physical goods in order to prepare for manufacturing.
From Lab Zero Games, thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
Now that the game is funded and the campaign proper is over, we'll be using Indiegogo's "InDemand" feature to continue selling the game and, hopefully, funding additional stretch goals.
We intend to leave this open as long as possible in order to try to fund as many stretch goals as we can, so there's still value in telling your friends to check the prototype and the campaign out!
