Celestial Tear - Information & New Demo

by Couchpotato, 2014-08-30 05:37:15

White Guardian Studios sent us a nice press release for Celestial Tear: Demon's Revenge. You may recall I mentioned the game twice this week already. If not read on.

The game is based on a fictional story that takes place on the planet Hasphal. Humans are the rulers of this land and they have banished the previous inhabitants, the jehts, to barren and harsh lands. All of this in honor of their Gods, the Gaddoks. In the game’s time, the native tribe – the jehts are on the verge of declaring war against humans to claim their inheritance. This is an era where all secrets of times are being unveiled. The humans in Hasphal are moving into a life style where religion in no longer a concern. Huge scientific advancements have emerged.

Are you up to being one of the 6 members of a diverse cast? Are you ready to explore the world’s great secrets and mysteries that could have a huge impact on the current beliefs? You can fight your way until you reach your destination. Analyze your powers and capabilities and take advantage of your surroundings to survive every obstacle. Come up with new strategies to win battles. Upgrade your powers and weapons. Live the epic life of an inhabitant of Hasphal.

We are currently running a Steam Greenlight campaign. We are also running an epocu campaign to generate more support. We are also planning on doing another kickstarter campaign on September 2nd.

The developer also sent a few videos, and a new Demo for everyone the try.

I also have a few more previews so here they are for more infomation.

Celestial Tear promises to bring us to a familiar form of RPG, focusing less on graphics and more on characters, stories, and an immersive world.

Indie Games

Celestial Tear: Demon's Revenge. It'll have an art style based on comic book art from the west rather than from the east, a story that sounds like it has plenty of potential for character development and exploration of dark themes.

If you’re a fan of JRPGs, definitely keep an eye on Celestial Tear: Demon’s Revenge, because the level of polish displayed in the Kickstarter video makes me hopeful, and I encourage you to check it out.

The developer is also on our forums under the name Trexrell, and his latest post has news about a new contest where you can design a new Boss enemy.

We are so excited to be putting up these creative images from participants of the contest! We want to wish everyone luck. We will actually have 2 winners, one voted by the community and one voted by us, the developers!
