Non-contract only, sorry. So the phone would be full price (or less if not the newest thing around, I guess).
Glass isn't indestructible.
I have a Galaxy 1 and the hardware is fine but, compared to the iPhone I had previously, the software blows. I'm not a power user and just want simple things like predictive text, taking a photo, etc to work. It constantly frustrates me - things crash, onscreen buttons don't respond, blah blah. I miss my iPhone.
My spouse had an early Droid phone. It too was buggy. Ringtones would not download, etc… The last thing I want to do is troubleshoot my phone. That's why I went with the iPhone…
There seems to be some misconceptions here. Android has been the market leader in smartphone OSs since 2010.
If possible - could we keep this thread about Android and not "Android vs. Iphone"? Those debates get old really fast (like Mac vs. PC, politics, religion, etc…)
While we estimate Samsung's share of Android smartphones increased from 35% in third-quarter 2011 to 39% in fourth-quarter 2011, Samsung's overall smartphone market share fell from 23.4% in third-quarter 2011 to 22.7% in fourth-quarter 2011 due to Apple's impressive share gains.
