Lots of high score right now, I'm not going to bother reading them though, I don't want to be spoiled.

update:
- Looks like PS4 framerate isn't that great.

Do we care for PS4 framerate? :evilgrin:

IGN 9.3? I thought that number is a code for virtually unplayable games, but paid review so readers know that they shouldn't really buy it. ;)

Apart from that, where's Escapist's review from the guy that game 10/10 to Dragon Age 2? I really need to see it before I die.

And I'm reading it like this - TW3 doesn't contain endless trashmob respawns and as such is a failure on consoles, but we actually like that new openworld design never seen on consoles before! :evilgrin:

I still expect the game to be great, but witcher senses could indeed get annoying pretty fast and ruin many quests.

joxer, cdpr said all versions look alike (in most things) pc included so dont get your hopes high :lol:

Rags are still okay (different time of day, different light plus considering it's a console) but wtf is that on their head on the new pic? Cheap ebay wigs?

Do not be sad yet. Both those pages say that they have only seen PS4 version, and believe that PC version may be much better.

Yes, those comparison shots are incredibly discouraging.

When Sony and Microsoft finally announced plans to develop new consoles, I was excited at the prospect of games finally not being held back by the lowest common denominator. Sadly, the latest console tech is laughably mediocre and hasn't done much to help gaming tech growth.

Maybe they will do the opposite of what happened with Witcher 2. They made that demanding for good PCs, then worked on cutting down for Xbox version. Maybe this time they will work on improving PC version, and make Enhanced Edition.

I have read review you have linked and you know what? This guy's favourite games are Quake, Diablo and "japanese slashers". He simply isn't an RPG player. To his credit he has the guts to admit that!

Okay!!!

I try not to swear here but FUCK it I watched a ING review of the Witcher 3! A person can only take so much. I was starting to feel like a child on Christmas that couldn't help but look under their parents bed to see what they were getting.

I will wrap this in spoiler tags though it is only one person review for ING 9.3/10 on the PS4.

So the game even on a PS4 looks insanely great. Unlike the TW2 where you are right into battle it starts off a bit slow as per the person reviewing the game. Though once you go off into the "Truly Massive World" it opens up to something truly great. As promised side quests do make a huge difference in what happens in area's unlike any other game even if they don't impact the main story. When you go back to that area a lot of things could have changed.

The main quest he said at times it feels week but where this lacks the open world more than makes up for. He had played over 100 hours and still there was a ton of things he had not touched.

They have really improved on the character build and use of the witcher powers in the game

Basically the only thing that he found wasn't truly amazing was parts of the main quest.

Sounds like we are getting the open world we have been craving.
