Risen Chapter 4: Camp Temple (spoilers)

I've found both busts in the camp temple. One from the right and the left side. But when I place both of them on the alter, the door doesn't open. It doesn't do anything. I've tried rearranging them but it still doesn't work. One is a regular lizardman bust and the other is a mage lizardman bust. What should I do?

There's a very good chance you're actually putting up the wrong bust in one of them. I know that had me confused on at least one location. I seemingly had some bust from a previous location that I kept trying to use by accident.
