I preferred Shadows of Angmar to Moria. Moria wasn't bad at all as a dungeon crawler when experiencing it for the first time. But it did, unfortunately, start Lotro down the path of powergaming (and the typical MMO grind) with the introduction of Legendary Items.
As for the rest of the game… it is a travesty of redundant and generic content that bored the living hell out of me the last time I returned to the game. As a Founder, I likely have upwards of 20-30,000 accrued turbine points now and I only wish I could sell them or at the very least transfer them to DDO.
It is nice that they are finally releasing a new class, however. Even if it did take them five years.
