If you own Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion and DLC, it still won't match. You need to have the Ultimate Edition, even though the Ultimate Edition is just SoaSE Rebellion + DLC. Same content, different title.

Good to know. I have the main game on Steam but not the dlc. I guess I'll get the Ultimate Edition on GOG eventually instead.
