Risen Rings of skill boosting

Yep. That was quite a disappointment. You get the crap beaten out of you by guards if you steal an apple from a peasant's hut but you can freely loot the residence of the city's law & order head honcho even if everyone is watching. That made absolutely no sense at all.

Peasants need their food, rich commanders can afford the loss. :)

Thanks for the update on the rings, I'll update shortly. Oh, and I've never noticed a problem with looting the +1 Staff ring from Carlos no matter what faction I joined - he seems oblivious to its existent. In fact, they all seem oblivious to almost anything, as it's possible to loot most of the fortress without anyone reacting.

I'm almost positive that I have a ring or amulet that gives +2 to the sword skill. I'll see if I can check what's it's called and where I got it.
