Ooops, I have no idea how old you are but perhaps it is like TXA said, it depends on your age? If you are young and did not hear about this trend... I am quite surprised.

Well into page 2 and we still have no idea how much money has been spent? That's the first question that gets asked in our household [admittedly by the house miser who likely has Scottish ancestry, but meh], so what's the hold-up, how much were they?

As for the other part of the conversation that sprouted up.

When my wife and desided we wanted to be more that just a couple dating. We opened a joint account, I put her in my benefits etc.

If I need something she let's me know we're we are at with money....
