PoE Load and save times

Pretty sure that's not the only reason, as I, for example, have currently no chanter in the party. (OK, I had the chanter at some point in the party, and am not sure if I've ever used the mentioned chant). And the save/load times are definately out of control. Just now, I started up the game and waited several minutes so that I can load a save at all. Makes me wonder if the amount of saves on the disk is affecting load times.

its probably some abilities/spells that affect this and only that from chanter was discovered so far; dont know about the no of saves, i said above have 40-50 after 40h of game and the load time is the same as in the beginning of the game

also someone said the summons too can create this problem, i used neither of these 2

edit if someone with loadtime problems could upload a save, ill gladly test it

Yea, me too. My save loads are pretty fast (about 8 seconds).

I'm guessing some of these abilities leave persistent remnants in the environment, when they shouldn't.
