Potato Flowers in Full Bloom - Review

Is there a shortage of available titles due to copyrights and all that? ;)

It's a very original game presentation too, even the mechanics. It's certainly unusual.

This game has an interesting name for sure.

It's a good game. Maybe even great. IMO It's easily superior most of the stuff that passes for blobbers/crawlers including some of the higher priced variants.

It has a demo and is currently on sale:

The game has an oddly sparse UI, especially for the non crawler parts, but it's all very functional and smooth. The graphics and presentation for the important bits - the blobbing and combat are especially good, IMO. The way exploration/puzzles/overall map is handled is pretty slick too.

This game has a ridiculously good map feature. You can zoom, rotate, switch levels, and fully explore the map in 3D - it's kind of overkill for this game - but's it's really cool.

The story/premise for the game is thin, as it usually is in this kind of game, but it's not too shabby how it's setup. And it's a low cost game - there's only going to be so much story/lore depth.

This game hasn't got nearly but buzz it deserves, especially compared to the too common lately overly hyped mediocrity pushed forth by influencers. Not that (m)any influencers play blobbers/crawlers. Just sayin'
