General News - Dwarf Fortress is coming to Steam

yeah i got into the game after the generation, it's nowhere near e.g Rimworld though.

If it had either decent graphics or an easier interface it would have helped it a lot commercially i think, when both are bordering to worst i've ever seen for a computer game then yeah it'll be hard to attract anyone but very, very hardcore fans. I mean i love this genre, it's super interesting, unique as hell, but for me the attraction is still pretty much close to zero.

It's sad, but I understand. With respect though, it is RW which is nowhere near DF in everything but the UI
