Expansion and growth is good, naturally.
But there comes a point where you're going to hit a wall, naturally - and then it's downhill from there (possibly).
Like Nintendo posting losses for this year. I mean, they've had tremendous success with the Wii and the DS is still doing well but how many gamers are there on the planet??? How much do they expect sales to continue to increase??? It's like they expect everyone who already owns a DS Lite to pick up a DSi AND a DSI XL. Crazy.
I've read about Atari produced something like 12 or 13 million cartridges of Pac Man for the Atari 2600 when there weren't even that many systems in use. Good thing CDs are easier to produce than cartridges!
