Pricewatch!

Can't care less about that plastic junk that should be free for any Steam user to consider touching it. And it should be free as mushrooms are not the standard PC configuration nor are supposed to be - yet Steam still allows selling products where mushrooms are mandatory without warning to buyers (some publishers are exception and state that their game can't be enjoyed without mushrooms, respect to them).

Still. I've checked availability via VPN.
It's still available in some parts of EU, depending on a country people won't get the same message (out of stock or limited quantity remaining) which means Valve decided to discount only a certain number of rubbish for each country - I doubt they have some storage of a sort in each one.

EDIT:
Have to add… Try to buy it in Australia. Prepare 90 AUD.

EDIT2:
Why the sale:
https://www.pcgamesn.com/steam/controllers-sale-discontinued
Steam controllers have been discontinued after just four years on sale, Valve has confirmed. The gamepads were intended to revolutionise Steam’s couch play potential, but Valve has seemingly decided to pull the plug on the experiment.
Good riddance.

It's discounts on VPNs.

There are several reasons why would you want one. The most obvious is geoblocking with unbelievable anticonsumerism in capitalistic world where Disney+ does not want your money unless you are coming from an appropriate IP address. Another are worldwide news sites that do not allow access from EU because they didn't implement privacy restrictions. Then there are sites blocked by your provider because someone said those are shady where in plenty of cases just aren't (otherwise chrome, firefox or uBlock would warn you the link is potentially malicious). Then there are cases where net neutrality is not respected depending on IP address you connect from.

Etc etc, the sad reality is VPNs make the life easier while online. I'm not saying you really need one, if all you're doing on PC is playing games on Steam, no reason to take one although the article originates from a gaming industry news site.

Tower of Time 70% off, just bought it off GoG for £5.89

I also got:

Divinity 2 for £1.49
Temple of Elemental Evil for £2.39

But both these games I have played before, just never completed them in the old days due to technical difficulties and don't own them digitally yet.

Tower of Time's at the perfect try-for-a-fiver price atm though, for anyone um'ing and ar'ing about it.

Hum. Tower of time was ok - i mean it was decent just not as good as it could have been - but i haven't played since the last patch which added some new features. I'll definitely buy their next game (assuming it is a genre i want to play).

Fallout 3 is only 2.99 on Steam. That's a good deal but it can be a pain getting to run on Win10 sometimes.

https://store.steampowered.com/app/22300/Fallout_3/

That is just the base game. If you want the GOTY edition, you have to pay a whopping $5.99.
Funny thing is that it says on the Steam page "Notice: Fallout 3 is not optimized for Windows 7 and later" and if I remember correctly, Steam only supports Windows 7 and later.

One of the fallouts - i think 3 - had a problem with threads and crashing. THere is a fix (or maybe it was eventually patched)

I bet now you're Elex MC. Suspiciously calm after all that hassle and bald. :)

Someone mentioned AC:Odyssey in another thread (as an example of CPU struggle), so have to mention that the complete edition, so called Gold, is -60% off on Ubi store:
https://store.ubi.com/us/assassins-...tion/5afda8a96b54a4271407a85b.html?lang=en_US - $40 in US
https://store.ubi.com/eu/assassin-s-creed--odyssey---gold-edition/5afda8a96b54a4271407a85b.html - 40€ in EU

1. Buy, play and finish it before Detroit gets released on Epic
2. Ignore Helix microtransactions store scam or find a mod that removes it from the game
3. If you didn't play AC3, you get the remastered version freebie for rainy days
4. You also get Liberation remastered as free bonus, ignore it, it's rubbish

The new humble bundle choice is known. I subscribed to the last month bundle (yakuza kiwami -> for if I ever finish yakuza 0, soul calibur -> don't know, my time at portia -> like stardew valley) in the last instant so I would be getting the 'classic' plan for 12 dollar (all 9 or 10 games instead having to choose). I found some source on reddit that said shadow of the tomb raider would be in it that turned out to be reliable!
- Shadow of the tomb raider
- Blasphemous
- Phantom Doctrine
- Dead In Vinland
- Horizon Chase Turbo
- Dark Future: Blood Red States
- Desert Child
- Aegis Defenders
- X-Morph: Defense

Not sure if the rest is worth anything though. I will keep subcribed as long as there is at least one great game in it every month. Though I always feel bad having so many games I will never play.
