Cautiously excited but I've grown tired of the original game.

So hopefully it's improved and different.

It looks identical or close enough to the first one. DW1 is far, far too dry for my tastes.

I really liked the opening of the game, even the sublight stuff. I enjoyed trying to find great planets to colonize, too. However, I hated the battles. I would make sure all the opponent races were pretty passive and play until war started to break out, then I would quit and play something else.

These battles look far more interesting (which is why I picked that spot in the video to link with)!
