You'd love Canada, sometimes it's even colder than Norway!! :)

And yes in part I might be doing this to give more Catholic children to Canada, much to Corwin's dismay. :D

An honorable achievement, no(?) doubt.

BTW, years ago our don't-know-what-to-call-it-in-English big boss for all healthcare in Norway, after a discussion concering birthrates, said he couldn't think of any reason why the world would need as many Norwegians as possible!

pibbur who disagrees with said claim, but suspects the rest of the world doesn't. And who is convinced that everybody sees the need for more pibburs.

Thank the LORD for having given me my third child, a beautiful second daughter! Great is His Providence! Earlier than expected a little bit, but I love her just all the same. My wife is so happy, and the children have seen their new little sister and are fascinated by it.

And no, marriage and having children is not pacifying me. I'm still just as much against liberals. :D

Rats, I thought you might finally come to your senses. :)

Congratulations! Best wishes to you, you wife, your newborn, and to the two who now have got a new competitor. How old are they?

Pibbur whose two daughters (34 and 35) are lefties just like himself.

Congratulations to you and your family on the new arrival - happiness and health to all!

My wife's belly is really really huge now, she gets really tired easily with our two small kids, and this one coming to this world really soon (another daughter).

I'm happy for her coming, but what I'm not quite as happy as much is that my mother-in-law, who I love very much, is going to come spend time here after her birth to help, which is actually a code word for micro-managing my every move and usurping my authority in the house. At least she knows I don't relinquish it easily, lol.

The relationship between parent and adult child - especially when grandchildren are introduced - is a minefield you really want to avoid stepping into! I know my brother waded right into it with the family of his (ex) wife early in their marriage ... and while their isues were deeper than that, I'm sure it didn't help.

For us, my MIL is very passive and not the type who would ever take control ... my wife on the other hand has to deal with MY mother - fortunately after a few years of marriage I set some boundaries and ground-rules.

Ultimately the best thing we ever did was assert our adult-hood and independance - it wasn't clean or pretty, but ultimately it worked best for our kids and our happiness. Good luck serviving the 'post-partum MIL' visit!

Dont worry all life is just dream of Zakhal, he hopes best for your, so your ribs will be like before the incident, they are healed now.

Hospital yay!

Heart rate doubled and got nice and dizzy. So I get some quality time with Doctors and nurses. yay!

I'm out of the hospital. My heart went A-fib and they had to give me drugs to get it back in rhythm. It was beating 178 times a minute vs. the normal 60-ish. I get to take this nasty drug called Coumadin that stops blood clots, but makes you a bleeder. Fun!

@crpgnut
Good to hear that you are out of the hospital - take care of yourself and slack off a bit.

I'm setting up a site in a couple weeks, so not much slacking in my near future. Got to get all the equipment built and set up. Yay!
