I smell a... wumpus!?
I wrote up a quick review on the Steam forums.
I'm very happy to see it on Steam's front page! This "re-mastered" Ego Draconis really needs some more exposure.
(Last Remnant has been half price for the entire sale and its forum is still pretty dead. <sigh> )

I'll play Divinity 2 soon after I upgrade my PC.
I think the battles in the Last Remnant were excellent, but I think most of the criticism in reviews was based on the reviewers not having direct control. We probably won't see that battle system again.

Yeah. and the fact that you can't just pick the exact general command to use, too. The game seems to make some attempt to give you good command sets to pick from (revive options always pop up if a group falls and you've got the ability to bring them back) but you don't always get exactly what you want. This game requires a certain amount of working with the hand you are delt.
