NMA has some details on Dead Money from a recent Major Nelson podcast. Apparently it will take 4-6 hours to complete, each companion has their own perk, Veronica has new dialogue options after completing the DLC and more. I like the sound of the nightkin companion.

Have to admit the story behind this DLC sounds titillating BUT i have made the decision not to be ripped off by Bethesda and patiently wait for New Vegas : GOTY next year.
