Also looking forward to the game, but I have to say the combat looks like hard work/a bit unfun. Might be the controls are easier than I think... dunno.

Those menus and even the map oddly remind me of a modernized version of Oblivion's... I know it's still a tech demo, but it sure is a strange thing.

The combat is fantastic. No game has ever had a combat like this. But it will definitely take some learning to get good at it.
What I enjoy most about these alphas is still the walking in forests and fields, it is just beautiful.

The AI is a little bit weak. They kept walking toward you slowly while you pointed a bow & arrow and fired. At that close range, they should have rushed to you (you're just a few feet from them) or at least try to avoid you and use the trees.

And when they found a little edge they had to climb, they got stuck there. The guy could have kept shooting them like sitting ducks, but I guess he knew it would look bad.

Wow! That is incredibly beautiful! I guess the game is worth it to put some effort into learning the combat. When this is out I will have a new PC and will enjoy a stroll in the woods.

Yeah it is probably the best looking game that ever ran on my PC. You can see that talented people are working on it and have a good engine to work with.
I hope in the year of development that remains that they will manage to give it some nice optimization, currently the alpha is pretty demanding. Altough with this kind of graphics, it is not hard to understand why.
