The August update for Age of Decadence is about the work on the final location, The Temple.

We're working on the temple (the final location) and the combat AI update, which will allow your enemies to use a wider range of attacks and respond more appropriately. It was a big chunk of work that took months and was completed only a few days ago. I must admit that I had reservations about including it in the upcoming update (last thing we need is breaking pretty much everything related to combat less than 2 months before the release), but it seems to be working quite well, so in it goes.

However, there are some issues (naturally) that we’re still working on. Two weeks should be enough, so we’ll push the next update from the end of the month to Sep 10. The temple will also benefit from extra love and attention.
More information.

I have the feeling Grimoire has been in development for a longer time. Anyway, a major difference between the who is that AoD will be released.

Yep I'm sure it will be, if I didn't think it would then I wouldn't have pre-ordered over 3 years ago :)

Pre-ordered as soon as I could. You all had me as soon as I saw turn-based combat with throwing nets. I'm not sure why, but I love throwing nets. Not easy to come by, either. Was so impressed, I made sure I replaced my ratty old mousepad with an Iron Tower Studio one, which is still holding up nicely. And now, there's even a second game out with turn-based combat and throwing nets, Battle Brothers. Who would've guessed? The RPG landscape has changed quite a bit in the last few years, although Battle Brothers is more of a tactical squad game. I guess my point is there are a lot more choices than there were 3 years ago...or maybe my point was something about throwing nets.....or maybe I'm just rambling.....

That is a keen and incisive observation, sir! You are clearly on the ball.

English isn't my first language so sometimes the nuances are lost on me... but I'm detecting a healthy level of sarcasm here. 😛
