If your lover had mental health issues, why wouldnt you get them help?

I cancelled a date with a smoking hot chick after Texas lost to Rice in 1994.

Of course, that still seems rational to me today! :)

You forget, we had 5 years of David McWilliams before Mackovic. Mackovic was a rock star compared to him!

I agree with others that I doubt this is as simple as someone not spotting signs of mental health issues and failing to help them.

Even if it were I think there are two really big obstacles - firstly people without experience of mental health problems struggle to believe there's any medical condition. Strangely many people would rather believe that the person they've known for x years has just changed personality, or gone off them etc. than suspect a medical cause. Secondly they have no idea just how exactly to go about helping them.

He chose this. Somewhere along his educational path, he missed morality 101.

This reminds me of a program I witnessed on tv about obssesion of eating where be the end a specialist who was working and thinking that they just have low will and intelegence to control themself and chose not to, was sorry later that she was thinking bad about them after it was discovered that is a anomaly(example of a kid that was operated in a 6years and was alive but after the operation he started to eat). So no is not their fault that their head is not working like it should have.

I don't know.. a lot of females seem to have very thick skulls.

*Looks around nervously*.

You missed the irony in my post, think physics and force, the small smooth pebble would hurt more since it is more likely to penetrate and do more damage than large rock with the same force applied to it. :p

Cm sees she has to add Damian to her list of "watching". JD may move up to the list of " be ready to just kill" along with Corwin! ;)

Many, many people haven gotten depressed and don't kill anybody. Myself included. Surprise, surprise, some get over it without the "little yellow pills" or whatever they are handing out these days.

Refer to He with the most posts however. JDR is always right. This thread could have ended with his reply and I would have been satisfied.

There are different levels of depression...
