Linux, iOS, and Android users will have access to BGII:EE on December 16.

Thanks, m00n1ight.

Yes, you can play it on your phone.

Included are hundreds of bug fixes, better pathfinding and stabilised multiplayer. There are German and Spanish text translations and the very-handy-for-a-phone option of increasing font size.

It's a whopping £10.49 for iPad at the moment, but there's no word how much it will cost for phones. Baldur's Gate [1]: Enhanced Edition costs £6.99 on iOS.

I'd imagine you'd need a stylus to play it on a phone, what with the size of the loot sprites and so forth.

I played BG:EE on my Surface Pro. (obviously larger than a phone). It was playable just using touch, but it was much easier once I started using the stylus.

I wouldn't bother on a phone, although I understand others seem to do it alright. BG1:EE worked great with touch on my tablet, though it's one of the larger tablets on the market.
