Should I upgrage my EVGA 770 GTX?

Just keep in mind that SLI also means twice as much power consumption and heat, and it doesn't work correctly with some games.

The power consumption "problem" is the same for the 980ti though:

Power Consumption:
970 - 164 Watt
980 - 171 Watt
980Ti - 250 Watt

My hairworks was Geralt only most of the time too. The only time it wasn't was when I knew a scene with one of the ladies was getting ready to fire. Then I'd turn it on for everyone.

I'm just having a bit of fun. I am surprised though how well the game runs on older hardware.

In any case I would make sure you buy a board which supports SLI.
So instead of replacing your 980ti when it becomes too slow, you can just add a second one.
Well, 2 x 980Ti might be tempting but that would be too much goodness :).

Besides, like JDR13 said, you would need a bigger PSU and I was targeting 700W, which I think is already more than necessary.

Furthermore the problem is right now that you will want to have fast memory. 3000 MHz maybe.

… I'd probably go with 16Gb 3000Mhz (or 3200) ….
Also, you won't see any significant performance difference between 2400Mhz and 3000Mgz.
From what I am reading, the differences in RAM speed hardly affects gaming so I wonder whether I will notice it if I get anything above 2133 MHz.

But you are going to buy a 980ti!
Do you really want to save like 20$ on Ram? ^^

And we talked about futureproof. So you might consider buying a 980ti now and a proper board, PSU, and then, in 3 years when you think your pc is too slow you can add another 980ti (if they are still available then)
