Well, I just started this F***ING AWESOME game and it's so detailed, well designed and the combat is top notch - makes my brain work hard (I play on Tactician level). I try to solve as many puzzles and quests on my own and that's why this game is so captivating for me. Plus I'm a sucker for good TBS.
I only had issues with my laptop overheating and the game crashing every time after about 10 minutes of gameplay. But I bought a new more powerful external fan and so far the game works great.
The game is stale and doesn't have many bugs (I only had one issue with Philosopher's Book of Death - it's not in the Library). I'm glad I gave Larian Studios some cash for the second game,

In the original D:OS, custom portraits were fairly easy to do. In this version, they're rocket science. It makes me really sad, because this version improves on so much. When can we have our custom portraits back? :(

[Very stable. I had two major bugs. On startup sometime a hidden window stole all input and crashes on exit.

I tried to play thru again but around the 40-50 hour mark I start to get bored. I enjoy the combat a lot and the character building but the story and the world just can't hook me to finish it. Still a great company and it is awesome games like this are being made again.

I think I'll be playing through this twice before taking a serious look at anything else.
Currently got a modified Shadowblade and Inquisitor with Madora and Bairdotr.
Next play through I'll be dual wielding single-handed weapons with one character and have a crossbow on the other with Jahan and Wolgraff.

Same here - I played it non stop, but somehow it started to drag after Luculla forest and now I left it for later.
