Avadon regenerating health

Do any of the difficulty levels stop the game from regenerating your health immediately after battles? Because this makes the game kind of a joke IMO.

Nope. And I don't think that eating tons of stuff after each combat would make it more fun or challenging (granted: food is pointless in the game)

Does MP not regenerate? or am I mixed it up with another game.
Is it Avernum where you gain health back per turn but not MP?

I think in Avadon Escape from the Pit you had to come back to pylons to regenerate mana.

There is no Avadon Escape from the Pit, but I recall playing Avernum Escape from the Pit and liking it.

I am not hating the game, but the regenerating health is pretty lame.

Personally I like it that way. I don't think the game is build around minmaxing the combats but instead on beating them. It's not a rogue like.
